308 – Permanent Redirect

The 308 status code indicates that the requested resource has been permanently moved to a different URL. It informs the client that the original URL should no longer be used for future requests, and all subsequent requests should be directed to the new URL provided in the Location header. Unlike 301, which is also used for permanent redirects, 308 retains the original request method (like POST) when redirecting.
