No-Index Tag

A meta tag that prevents a web page from being indexed by search engines

<meta name="robots" content="noindex">

You've just updated an old blog post with new information that's relevant again. However, you're not ready for search engines to show it in results yet, so you add a "no index" tag to the page's code. This tells search engines like Google not to include your updated post in their search results until you're done polishing it.
